Don't say you think you know when you know you don't
Wow, I listen to them way too often:)
I am so exhausted today. I only slept for like three hours last night, no joke. I think I have insomnia. Not fun at all:/
I saw the funniest thing yesterday! I was in the car driving to Turlock, and saw an old abandoned house with a sign out front that said, "free back rubs". A major WTF? moment. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever stopped there....
Next time I drive by I will try to get a picture of it to put on here. But until then you'll just have to imagine it.
I have star testing next week. I really don't mind them as much as everyone else seems to. I always finish with way too much time, and that leaves me some time to catch up on my reading. Or crocheting, whatever I'm in the mood for:)
I don't really have too much else to talk about. So leave me a comment, I changed it so anyone can leave me one as anonymous, you don't have to have a blogger account to leave a comment.
love you all,
Kayla Marie

Home Sick

Listening to: The Academy Is...'s cover of Working Class Hero by John Lennon.
My personal favorite song off of their acoustic EP. Unfortunatley, William did not play it at their show I went to about a month ago.
I am home sick, in the literal sense that I am at home, and sick. I really hate staying home most of the time, because there isn't much to do. Especially when you feel like your head is going to explode.
I watched a really good movie last night, called Seven Pounds. Will Smith is in it, and it was absolutely amazing. I would elaborate and tell you
what the movie is about, but I really don't want to

Fun Weekend

This weekend was amazing:) I went back to Durham, and spent some time with my friends and family. Thursday I went to the school, and hung out with my friends during lunch, and went to a few of their classes. Ate some recycling with Mike during Algebra II, it really wasn't too bad.
I went to lunch with some cool cats on Friday, then went back to the school after it was out and played volleyball with Robles like the good ole days. Saara spent the night, and we went to Brad's baseball game, where we hung out with Mike (we made him brownies), Avery, Stark, and Austin.
Saturday I spent with my family, Peter, and LK. We went to the Shell station and drank wayyyyy too much soda. My stomach actually still hurts. haha. Saturday night we just chilled at home and made some prank calls.
Then I went home today. I would elaborate on the weekend a bit more, but I am exhausted and I have a paper to write.
Love you all,

I'm holding every breath for you
Probably my favorite Taylor Swift song:)
Today was probably the slowest day of my life. I had no one to text, all of my friends are in school again. Lamesauce, I know. I didn't leave the house once. Isn't that sad? haha. But I'm going to build a graham cracker house tomorrow, I promise there will be pictures:)
I'm tired, so I'll cut this one off short
Love you all,

Great America

Went to Great America today, with my family. It was fun, and I surprisingly didn't get too sunburned. That is quite the feat for someone as... fair skinned as I am. I rode pretty much every ride there, I love roller coasters. My sister totally freaked out on the Invertigo (the one in the picture) it pretty much made my life.
I gotta get to bed, I am exhausted.
love you all!

Easter
Very interesting song, it's on my myspace right now, I think.
Hope you like the slideshow I added to here. I can't take it off, it won't let me, so I guess you're stuck listening to "Everything We Had" everytime you read this. Sorry. haha. I'll try to figure out a way to at least change the video.
My Easter has been rather uneventful thus far. Got a lot of candy, that I probably won't eat. I'm not super religious, so I'm not going to church or anything. Just sitting around like a typical Sunday. Might go for a jog, like yesterday. Haven't decided yet.
I posted this in a bulletin on myspace, just thought I'd share it with you guys too:
So, I'm sitting here eating a chocolate bunny, as one would normally do on Easter.
And it is staring at me.
And that leads me to think, why in the world would someone put eyes on a chocolate bunny?
It's really awkward when your food stares at you as you eat it.
And that got me thinking, does this bunny have friends? a family?
it could belong to a bowling league for all I know!
But not any longer, because I just ate his feet.
Then, I had to put the chocolate down, I couldn't eat it anymore, with these thoughts in my mind.
So, I put the bunny pack in it's packaging which, of course, has a clear cover on it.
The bunny is still staring at me.
Then I begin to think, maybe I should put this bunny out of it's misery.
I mean, it's just sitting there, with no feet.
And is probably in an excruciating amount of pain.
All because of me.
So, I take the bunny out of it's packaging, again.
And as I'm about to take the final bite, that will put it out of it's misery.
I start thinking again, what if this bunny still has a chance.
I could take him to the hospital, get some prosthetic feet, he could be alright.
Then, it hit me.
It's a chocolate bunny.
He is made out of candy.
I just wasted ten minutes of my life, worrying about a chocolate bunny.
I will leave it at that.
love you all!

When It Feels Like Flames Surrounding Me Here

It is Saturday. And I am bored. My grandma, Aunt Judy, and Uncle Jonny are here. We have been playing pool pretty much non stop since they arrived. I'm not too great at it. But I discovered that I belong to a family of pool sharks. No joke, they are all like ridiculously good at pool. According to my sister, "it runs in our blood" haha.
I am going to dye Easter eggs today. I'm supposed to make a pink and orange one, to symbolize mine and Saara's friendship. It should be beautiful. I don't really have much to say today, so I'll leave it at that.
love you all,
Kayla Marie.

Friends
So, today is officially the first day of Spring Break! For me anyways, most of my friends had this whole week off:/ I really don't have any special plans for spring break, but I'm still excited anyways. I think I'm going to Great America again on Tuesday, woo hoo! more sunburn. haha.
I'm listening to the song Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by This Providence right now. It is currently my favorite song, you should check it out. And by you, I mean Melissa, because she is the only person that reads this, so far. lol.
love you all,

Family
Then there's Patrick. Patrick is my.... dad, despite how much I hate admitting it. We used to be closer than any two people could possibly be, but not anymore. He did some pretty screwed up things in the past few months, that I won't get into right now, but it was pretty messed up. So I no longer talk to him.
I have a step mom, sorta. Her and my dad are in the process of getting divorced right now, but I still love her, so I still see her as my step mom. She has three kids, my brothers and sister. And I also have a bilogical brother, and sister.
Today was the crappiest day ever. The weather was horrible, and I was not prepared for that. So I had to walk home in the pouring rain with no jacket or sweatshirt. Started crying during driver's ed, if you wanna know more about that, just ask. Saw the guy I like walking with a different girl, totally flirting with her, and she was wearing his sweatshirt......
Not really in the mood to write right now, so I think this one is done.
Love,
Kayla Marie

Books
Yes, I am a twilight fan. Not an obsessive one, I just enjoy the books. I did not like the movie at all, I thought the acting was really cheesy. I also enjoy the Harry Potter series, the movies were alright, but I definitely preferred the books. I used to be really into the Series of Unfortunate Events. Lemony Snicket's cynical sarcastic tone is refreshing, to say the least.
The Princess Bride was an amazing book. Anyone that has seen, and enjoyed the movie, will love this book. It is one of the very few books I've read that made me laugh out loud.
Today was alright. The boy that I have a huge crush on ignored me, again. Classes drug on and on, never ending. Almost time for spring break though! I honestly can't wait. My sister might be coming to visit me, and that would be great I miss her like crazy.
No one reads this blog so far, but I still write as if I have an audience. Oh well, when I become a blogging sensation, my fans will want to go back and read old posts, so I will make them interesting.
love,
Kayla Marie

movies
Ok! I am way off topic. Movies, right. Another one of my favorites is P.S. I Love You. It had a pretty good cast, Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Kathy Bates, Harry Connick Jr. (who has a fantastic voice, by the way). I cried through the whole thing, it was very funny though.
Mk, time for the regular blog stuff. I went to school today, imagine that. Nothing too exciting happened there. I've had a lot on my mind though. One of my best friends is totally heart broken over this girl that honestly has no interest in him. And, being his friend, I've been helping him through it. It really kills me to see him so depressed, it's not like him at all.
Well, I don't have too much else to say today. love you all:)

Hmmm music.... I love music, possibly more than air. I love to just lay in my bed, headphones on, and just listen. People are so busy these days, they never just stop to appreciate a good song. They just listen to it while they are in the car, or working, or running from one place to another. But how often do you see someone just sitting and listening? You hear so much more when you just stop to listen. Don't get me wrong, I don't always stop and take the time to appreciate music, but I try. I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar right now as well.
Some of my favorite bands are: The Academy Is..., Evan Taubenfeld, This Providence, Taylor Swift, Cobra Starship, Ludo, Flogging Molly, Panic at the Disco, Paramore, 3 Days Grace, 3oh!3, Smosh, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Garth Brooks, Linkin Park, Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, 30 Second to Mars, John Lennon, The Beatles, Kenny Chesney, Remember Maine, Johnny Cash, Michael Buble, The Fray, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. A pretty strange mix, I know. And there are like a million more, but that's just a small taste of what I listen to.
Alright time for the normal blogging stuff. I really don't know what to write. Should I just talk about stuff I've done lately? I went to Great America yesterday, and got a really bad sunburn. I had a lot of fun though, I love roller coasters. My mom and step dad were arguing the whole day, so that was kind of a downer. We stopped at a really cool place called Casa de Fruta, it was basically a really big fruitstand with a restaurant. They also had a carousel and a train ride thing.
I have a ton of homework to do, so this is the end of my post. Love you all:)

the beginning
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Kayla. I would tell you my last name and whatnot, but there are a lot of creepy people lurking the internet, so I'll keep that to myself. I live in a tiny little hick town, just moved here not too long ago. My life has a way of constantly changing. I move a lot, constantly meeting new people, and forgetting old ones. It's not a life I particularly like, but I guess you can grow accustomed to anything, right?
I love sports, and music. My friends are everything to me, well the ones I've managed to hang onto anyways. My favorite band is The Academy Is...
Alright, that's enough useless information about me. I'm going to try to keep this blog as entertaining as possible, so I guess that leads to limitless possibilities as to what I will post here.
